Our church actually partners with a local farm to do CSA shares in the summer. Peter and I didn't get involved this year (mostly because of pregnancy food issues) but we're planning on buying a share/splitting one with my parents next year.
The other good news about buying locally (especially for those of us - me; who often don't have the time to get to a farmer's market) is that there are other options in Buffalo. One is the Lexington Co-op (which is now on my way home from work everday and is open to non members). The second is that Wegman's has contracts with local farms, and clearly labels produce from those farms with where they're from (ie Eden Valley Growers, etc). The Wegman's by you may also be doing the same thing.

Let us know how well the CSA goes.
