You'd have liked this recipe, O Minion

2 tsp Olive Oil
1/2 Carrot, chopped
1 Onion Chopped
1 Garlic Piece, Chopped
1 cup Split Peas, Rinsed and Went over
4 cups water
1/2 cup cut up canadian bacon
1 tsp Marjoram
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

heat the oil until it's nice and hot, then put the onion, carrots and garlic in until they soften, about 5 minutes.
Add the Split Peas and Water, Boil, then let the simmer, with the pot covered, until the peas are tender, about an hour.
Add the Canadian Bacon and Spices, Serve.

It was REALLY good, o Minion, and fairly easy to make!
