McDonnell was actually in his 30s when he wrote that thesis. Not exactly in the "young and naive" category, which is why I don't entirely trust his claims to a change of heart since then.

But otherwise, yep, I agree -- I've seen half a dozen McDonnell ads, and exactly one for Deeds. Deeds is going to lose, and it's going to be his own damn fault. As horrible as the McDonnell thesis is, using that as your only campaign tactic amounts to a cheap shot. I believe you said even Obama isn't thrilled with how Deeds is running things?
