Other things going on not related to Merlin

Well.. there are other things going on in my life that I'll write about that have nothing to do with Merlin, so I'll write about them. This'll probably be a short post.

Firstly, my friend Dave stopped by yesterday to chat quickly. We're going to try to go see "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" on OPENING DAY (that is... Friday). The deal will be... I go pick the tickets up before 6:00 for a late show for my family, Dave and myself.. then we go and enjoy what looks to be an extraordinarily COOL movie!

The Sims: Hot Date should arrive at Babbage's today or tommorow.. and I've preordered, so I'm waiting for that call so I can pick it up and play :) (I need SOMETHING to keep my mind off things)

I met a new diet buddy last night on Phat Chat... I can't say as I remember her handle, but she might be emailing me soon to tell me about her first day exercising and what she accomplished.
I find it kinda amusing that people are asking me MY advice on dieting and exercise.. but then, I do kinda understand why... I mean 30 lb. loss in 10 or 11 weeks is pretty successful!

What else? Oh.. gotta meeting at 4:00 (after what looks like an interesting lecture in water quality modelling in a lake in Israel) for a pre-meeting meeting for UBEESC. Pre-meeting meeting? What I mean is.. we're hoping to have an ACTUAL UBEESC meeting next Friday.. but we want a meeting to make sure we know what we'll talk about today.. at 4. Got it? Good :)

That's all I can think of. Talk to y'all latahz.

I simply cannot wait to see Harry Potter. They're using the title Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone here in Canada (and Britian and everwhere else, I think), but Sorcerer's Stone in the U.S. That's weird.

I will love seeing John Cleese as Nearly Headless Nick, the ghost. :)

Ok ... what is it with this .. half the adverts I hear say Harry Potter and the Sorcer's stone, and the other half say the Philosepher's stone.

And well since it is the first book I guess philosipher's stone is correct?

What's going on? Image
