Genevieve is old english and it actually is the same name as Jennifer just time has altered it. If you study names any or even look at name books in any great detail then you'll see that Genevieve and Jennifer are part of the same root name. Just as we can trace our ancestors hundreds of years back they can trace names back that far if not further to discover where the name started and what form it had.
Just TODAY my paycheck was misplaced because someone confused me with another Jennifer. GRR. When I started working here there was only one other one, now there's 5.
