Weekend at
ecwoodburn's - Part II
God, is the weekend over already? *sob*
It was a good weekend... not perfect, certain issues arose (like the fact that neither
ecwoodburn nor I slept as much as we'd like (Not for the reasons you dirty-minded dorks are thinking.)) We tried sleeping, failed, tried again, failed. I think the only way we ended up falling asleep was putting some space between us (*pout*) and sleeping.. normally.. without cuddling.
Something to work on in the present.
So we woke up, went back to sleep, woke up, ate a little, cuddled a little, went back to sleep, got up at 12:45 and got ready to visit Maureen and the rest of "The Brain". Much fun.
We talked, then Aidan, Maureen's three year old would pull me over to look at a game, more talk, another game. It was pretty amusing, actually.
It got to the point where Aidan is like "Howard, I've got three games I wanna play" and I was all "Good. Enjoy yourself!" *cuddles Kristen*
Hehehe.
Then we played two games of Chez Geek, my all time favorite card game. The more I play, the more I love it. This game is just neat. It is absolutely cool.
By that time, it was 6:15 and I wanted to leave about 7:30 so I could go home before the sun set (I was tired enough that I was somewhat worried about falling asleep on the dark road.)
So we went back to Kristen's and we cuddled for an hour. It was.. melancholy. We enjoyed it, but we (well, I was and I THINK she was) sad that the weekend had run by so fast and I was leaving soon.
Then I went home.. quiet ride.. obviously I'm home since here I am, posting.
It was really fun to be with Kristen. I love spending time with her. She's without a doubt, the best thing that's happened to me in a while. I love her.. which is good, because she loves me too. *sappy*
It's.. amazing. I haven't believed in fairy tales like love at first sight in.. a long long time.
And yet, that's sort of what it's like.
We met.. four weeks ago, today.. and we just clicked and we keep clicking and now we're a super happy (and yes, fairly cute) couple.
And I can't describe how good and nice it is.. to be with someone.. to be loved.. to love...
Even if she is trying to take over my ftp site with tons of "her" music ;) (No worries, though, I've taken over her playlist with a ton of MY music :D )
I'm pretty pooped. I'm gonna head towards bed in a few and I had BETTER get a full night's worth of sleep.. or else.

I'm not so easily scarred ;)
Nah. It was cool to meet you too.
I figured we'd get along pretty well. Was less sure with John and Maureen, but that also seems to have worked out well :)

I'll probably try to visit the Brain again the next time I'm up in Rochester (tentatively the first weekend of August)

It seems longer to me because I've been travelling so much lately. Like, "oh yeah, I guess it was in between San Antonio and San Francisco..."
Oy. :)
