Video Mods - A show on MTV using video game clips to create a video for hit music.
Actually, all in all, this wouldn't be the least bit interesting if it weren't for this tidbit: They're doing a video using The Sims 2 for Fountains of Wayne's "Stacey's Mom". I'd love to see what THEY do with it.

*the beginning of the guitar shows the screen zooming into the neighborhood, we zoom into a house..

(We see Stacey's mom, home from work: redhead, wearing a business suit, she grabs the bills from the mailbox and She walks around the house to the radio where she gets funkay and dances to some music. Enter Stacey and The Guy (teen guy, baggy brown trousers, cool shirt, baseball hat) who just came from school, bus zooms away.)
Stacey can I come over after school

(Stacey and The Guy head into the backyard and jump into the pool. Stacey's mom starts prepping dinner.)
We can hang around by the pool
Did your mom get back from her business trip.

(The Guy gets out of the pool. Stacey's mom is inside the house, working out at the home gym.)
Is she there or is she trying to give me the slip.

(Flashback to the guy turning from youth to teen.)
You know I'm not the little boy that I used to be
I'm all grown up now, baby can't you see

(Flashback to guy at home. He's got the telescope and a thought bubble of Stacey's mom pops over his head. Zoom to Stacey's mom who just got out of the bath and dresses in a flash (ala Sims)

(Stacey flirts with Guy. Guy wants nothing to do with it. Relationship goes down.)

(Guy is in bed, Stacey's mom appears over his head. He's dream about her.)
I know it might be wrong but I'm in love with Stacey's mom

(Stacey's mom in front of the radio, dancing)
Stacey's mom has got it going on

(Fastforward. Guy is in Stacey's Hot Tub. Stacey's mom jumps into swimsuit and gets in.)
Stacey do you remember when I mowed your lawn
Your mom came out with just a towel on
I could tell she liked me from the way she stared
And the way she said you missed a spot over there

(Guy dreaming about Stacey's mom again)
And I know you think it's just a fantasy
(backtrack. Stacey's dad walks out. Stacey's mom bawls her eyes out.)
But since your dad walked out
(Guy swaggers into the room, Stacey's mom is making dinner.)
Your mom could use a guy like me

(Flashback: Stacey's mom dancing)

(Telescope)

(Fastforward through numerous quick images. Stacey, Stacey's mom, Guy)
(Jump forward - Guy is now a man and begins flirting with Stacey's mom. Stacey is still a teen. Stacey's mom is falling for it hard.)

(Zoom in, Stacey's mom and Guy are sleeping in the bed. Relationship bar shows a heart over Stacey's mom in Guy's Bar. Aw, how cute.)

Oh god.. that's... half of that is totally completely fake!

For example, the whole dream sequence scene witht he pole. At least my video was technically possible! :p

Yes, I'm the sort of dork that thinks that's more upset seeing the badly done photoshopping than The Sims doing Stacey's mom.
