Humming "Battle Hymn of the Republic" in the middle of foreplay is a bad move because of the resulting laughing fit that will last at LEAST five minutes and completely kill the mood.

At first, it was just sort of random notes, which was...odd, but OK. Then he starts with "Hymn," and it was all over. I was just slightly overtired enough for it to cause hysterical giggles -- the sort where you have to sit upright because you can hardly breathe. s:)

Heh..not exactly mood setting no. =) Now if you hummed "Lets get it on" or "Your body is a wonderland"..that might work =)
