Motivation: Reasons
Aug. 7th, 2008 07:27 amSo, alot of the reasons I've been quiet here come down to the fact that I fell right off the wagon again. I was OK for a couple of days but then I got the new job and things sort of fell apart.
Truth be told, it isn't just the job. It's.. alot of things. None of which I want to get into.
What I know is.. I want to get back on the wagon and stay there. I have a TON of reasons to get back into the healthy lifestyle. Here's a few of them, posted for my benefit.
1) I can dance longer and harder if I'm fit
2) I just feel better about myself when I'm doing right by my body by eating well and exercising.
3) Support. We're all here for the same reason, to get thinner and fit. I think we all support each other in those respect. I definitely get, I think, more positive support when I'm actively working to do better, which I appreciate.
4) Vanity. I think I'm more attractive thinner than heavier.
5) Health. Both sides of my family have known cardio issues.
6) Quality of Life. I definitely have more energy when I'm thinner and fitter than I do when I'm heavier and out of shape.
7) Stress Relief. I KNOW working out helps me deal with some of the days and weeks stress. I KNOW this.
8) Clothes. There's definitely some nicer clothes out there for thinner people.
... that's.. actually all I can think of on the fly.
I'm going to do my best to get back on board. I know things are still... I'm still not in the best place, but K and I are actively working to sort things out and make things better. And I think this will help instead of hinder those efforts. I just gotta remember that.
But as I said, all of this is for my benefit anyways.
EDIT: Plan to get back into this
Friday: Go to the gym, walk
Saturday or Sunday: Pull out DDR
Also this weekend: Order Wii Fit from Amazon
