My Prayer

Feel free to quote part or all of this... It's a little rough, but the feelings behind it are passionate.
I just feel I need to write this down... but I suspect that people around American, perhaps the world.. despite whether they are pro-war or anti-war will agree with this...

My Prayer
Dear Lord,

I don't often ask for your help. I'm a big believer that I can handle most things on my own. But this is above and beyond what I can handle on my own. So I ask you to please allow the following to occur:
Please make this war short and easy with minimal loss of life.
Please allow all our troops, the brave men and women fighting abroad, to come home safe and sound to the family and friends who love and miss them.
Please may you quell the hearts of those that would seek retribution against us at this time, both at home and abroad.
Please may you grant wisdom to your muslim children to understand that this is not a war against all of them.
And above all, please may you grant our leaders the wisdom to find the best leader for the Iraqi nation, so that we will not have to ever fight this war again.
