yay to NASA and I'm not dead yet
Jan. 4th, 2004 10:56 amFirst off all, Congratuations to NASA for landing Spirit, the first of their two Mars Rovers succesfully. May we get some kickass cool images from it to add to my wall of cool NASA photos ;)
Despite any circulating rumors, I am not dead. My life has been pretty boring and quiet with very little going on except for a fairly extreme episode of loneliness and clinginess for
ecwoodburn
Otherwise, work and trying to get back cool with the family after an icky fight.
Going out with friends this afternoon. Going to Todd's house to playtest Chez Grunt and possibly something else. Then Dave and his fiancee' Carol should be showing up at 6:00. We'll probably play some games (I'm bringing Curses! alone for just that reason *eg*)
I feel the need to just get out of the house, though. Feeling cooped up and cramped here, especially given how much I'd prefer to be in Rochester with Kristen and other brain folks.
Speaking of, I missed out on another great brain gathering, a present exchange.
I've not made a big deal out of it, but I would note, I am... saddened that this present exchange was moved from it's original time (New Years Eve) to a time I could not be there. I understand the situation in which this occured, but it saddens me nonetheless.
Mostly, I miss my friends. Most of them seem currently too far away and I know that's mostly because all I'm doing is working and trying to have a life and.. anyways.
Not alot else to say.
So...
Yeah. I'll post.
