I really hate people

Long story short...fucking Wisconsin wants to make it fucking legal to fucking shoot feral cats.
Why?
Because feral cats hunt song birds and that's BAD.

LET'S COMPLETELY IGNORE THE FACT THAT WE HAVE KNOWN FOREVER AND A DAY THAT THE BIGGEST THREAT TO WILDLIFE IS US... Our poisoning the environment, our bulldozing their homes to make homes for us.
*fume*

I swear to god.. I wish someone would make shooting Humans for game acceptable.. but, no doubt, that'd backfire on me :p

Been there, done that.
But I agree.. the idea of making cats legal to shoot is just.. it's wrong. On so many levels.
I don't get people. I honestly don't.
Yes, songbirds are nice too.. but believe me, they all got along fine before humans appeared... mother nature has this way of evening out the score.. too many cats, too little pray, an awful lot less cats.
Not nice, but.. nicer, imho, than going and SHOOTING a kitty. :p

That makes me so mad. Most cats, feral or not, hunt birds. So if you have a pet cat and it catches a bird as a sign of affection for its human, does that mean someone can shoot it because they think it's feral?! Grrr. My two cats were feral cats and now enjoy the rough life of sleeping on a sofa's sun spot. Feral cats DO NOT need to be shot.
