Hey! Found you on my network page. Nice to meet you!

What most of us are up in arms about (well, in my circle of the internet) is the lumping of "abortion funding" in with other female health issues. The way they're framing this, cutting the abortion funding (on which I agree with you, by the way; that's too hot-button, and it's a sure way of killing this in the water) isn't the only thing that gets cut. For some unfathomable reason, they're putting pelvic exams, birth control, and domestic abuse counseling coverage in with abortions. If they want to not cover terminating pregnancies, fine. But the only women's health measures included are mammograms & pap smears (which, I might add, are part of a pelvic exam).

I guess most of us are irritated at women's health being treated like a special interest issue. The moment something relates to my uterus, it's like "HOLY CRAP THAT'S A GIRL THING WE CAN'T TALK ABOUT THAT LA LA LA" *fingers in politician ears*. It kinda makes me feel like I'm an alien or other exotic creature because I've got some ovaries floating 'round in here.
