So yesterday was another good day and an extremely good second date.

My day STARTED at 4:15 thanks to *grumblegrumblegrumble* cattsses
It's a damned thing they're cute. Otherwise, I imagine I'd have killed them by now.
Tried to sleep some more, failed. Wandered downstairs, watched American Pie 2, some random cartoons (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Cartoon. I've found myself watching this on a weekly basis. I was a bit of a fan of the first cartoon :) ), waited until 10.
10 rolls around and I head to Media Play to get HP5 (Of which, so far, I've only read about three pages. So if anyone dares spoil it for me, I shall be forced to tie them up, hang them by their toes and dangle them into a steaming vat of molten cookie dough. ), grabbed some gas and head towards Rochester.
Actually, back up.
Got to Media Play. No line.. and for that matter, don't see any big display of HP5 books in front of the store like last time.
So I go up to the desk and the guy's like "Harry Potter, right?"
Right.
"Didn't someone call you. We didn't get our books in. Our trunk was stolen yesterday."
Wha? No.. hey.. wait.. isn't that hp5 behind you (behind the counter)
"Oh. Those? No, those are for me."
I'll take one, please :)
Anyways, so I headed to Rochester.
Rather, I headed towards the wrong way on the 90, found myself on the 190, turned around and THEN was headed to Rochester.
The trip TO Rochester SUCKED. It was raining the whole way, not lightly and I found the car slipping a couple times which scares the hell out of me. I DO NOT want to get into any more accidents, thankyouverymuch.
Found my way to [livejournal.com profile] ecwoodburn's. Hung out there for an hour and a half, headed to Applebee's to put stuff in our belly and headed off to visit [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar and [livejournal.com profile] kolys's place where we, together, were way too cute (Which is NOT me admitting that I am because I am NOT! :D )
It's amazing. I'm just extremely comfortable with Kristen. Once we got over what was really a fairly quick awkward phase.. I'd dare say we were acting like a new couple ([livejournal.com profile] xb95 and [livejournal.com profile] janinedog come to mind on how cute new couples act around each other. (Again, not saying I *AM* cute, but I apparently act it. (Which goes to show my great acting abilitiies, eh? ;) )) I was with them through most of the Darien Lake trips and there was major cutage.) And after only a week, I'd swear [livejournal.com profile] ecwoodburn and I are acting the same way. Weird.
Hung out with Dawn and Oli for a couple hours. Got to hear [livejournal.com profile] kolys play guitar and [livejournal.com profile] ecwoodburn sing (I'd previously heard [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar sing and, actually, I didn't hear much of her, being right next to Kristen and also somewhat singing myself (If badly). Wandered off for dinner (and massive snugglage :) ), hung out at Kristen's place a little more, then headed home at 9:55 (which is a good time, cause I *WAS* tired and actually once I hit the 490, my eyes were TIRED and yawnage occured on the 90 and... anyways.. yeah.. left on time :)
Came home, saw mom. Told her about what the Media Play salesman did, went to bed, slept.
Which sounds good. I think I'll try sleeping again now.
So to sum up Rochester... um.. Wow. :)

This song keeps whirling around in my head...

Why did they send her?
Over anyone else
How should I react?
These things happen to other people.
They don't happen at all in fact.

Depending what we're singing, Kristen and I can tend to blend a bit anyway. It's part of why I like singing with her - our voices mesh well. :)

The only place you might've noticed at all would be the harmony line I do in the chorus of "Call and Answer". One day, the harmony for, "I will answer" came to me... and it just kinda stuck. The only line in the whole song I can harmonize though. :)

To be honest, I was too busy singing and trying to remember the lyrics to notice you and Kristen singing.
Though, in all honesty, I probably shouldn't have because that wasn't a song with the sort of bass part I can't sing, I couldn't help myself.
