You know, I agree with you that the government is rarely efficient.
I do, unsurprisingly, disagree with you when it comes to things such as universal healthcare, food stamps, etc. I believe, personally, that we have a moral obligation to make sure that such a person has the CHANCE to better themselves, instead of getting stuck in an unfair system where they have no real chance to succeed. (Which is our system. If you need any further proof of this, let me rant your ear off regarding the total garbage that is the Credit Rating and how it can destroy your life.)
