I have alot to say and no time to say it.
*sigh*
I'll catch up with writing a livejournal and posting pictures soon.
And the other 20 things I need to be doing, but aren't getting done.
Honestly.

Well, we ended up staying home today. I'm glad, honestly. I caught up with today's studying (I've written myself a schedule and I'm past what I had to do today).
So tonite I'll read Materials Engineering and be a little ahead.
Ahead is good.
That gives me approx. 1 1/2 hours free, though.
Bwahahahaha! :D
99 page Livejournal, here I come! :D (just for [livejournal.com profile] kareila)
Marc is coming over... anytime. He's here to do a little spackling and take a shower (he has no heat, hence.. no hot water, hence... no showers. He swears it's not his fault. His story this time actually sounds pretty vaid, so I'm inclined to believe him. But, anyways...)
I'm not thrilled to see Marc come over, but... I can deal.
He certainly seems to be putting forth an effort to be part of the family again. I wish we could trust him, though.

And speaking of family members, my father is a total asshole. And my stepmother is worse!
To some of you, this come as no surprise. I've voiced these sentiments various times in the past.
So what have they done this time?
Let me tell you a story about a man named Jed...
wait... that's not right.
...
I'll come in again.
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!... er.. right...
So... here's the story.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, dad is going to get Josh a car.
Originally, he suggested he had approximately $9,000 to spend on a car. Apparently, he never went and checked this out with his credittors (not sure exactly who he's borrowing from). As far as I know, he still hasn't.
He dropped that bomb on Josh Saturday. Josh got PISSED. Dad was supposed to have moved on all this earlier. Josh knew exactly which model Kia he wanted and everything.
It gets better.
I'm not sure exactly what brought it on.. but dad was talking about the fact he needs to check with the credittors and stuff at dinner with his wife and Josh. Elaine said something about "Don't do it. He's just using you to get a car."
So Josh calmly took his dishes into the kitchen, put them in the sink and walked out without his jacket.
5:45, *I* get a call from dad telling me that Josh walked out 15 minutes ago without a coat and hasn't come back. Dad had no idea where he was.
So, let me summarize...Elaine said something nasty. Dad let her. Josh walked out. Dad didn't stop him or try to apologize for Elaine.
So, I wake mom up and we begin to worry. We try to call Josh on his cell phone, but he left it home. Finally, Josh calls us at 6:05.
I pick him up. Meanwhile, dad calls back talking to mom.
Apparently dad isn't happy with the way Josh has been acting! ARGH! What an asshole!
If you treat Josh with some semblance of respect and don't allow that bitch of a wife of yours to open her damned mouth, he might give you respect back, you stupid man.
I know that dad has lost his chance of ever having any sort of relationship with me. Truth be told, when I leave the nest, I doubt I'll ever give that fuck a second thought. And I suspect that Marc wants nothing to do with dad (and vice-versa)
So Josh is probably my dad's last chance of having a relationship with one of his sons.
And he's gonna blow it. He is blowing it.
What an idiot.
But it gets better.
Sunday, dad declared that (without checking with his creditors) he could only spend about $7,000 on Josh.
So much for a new car.
What an asshole.
Not done yet!
This weekend, I felt really bad. I might maybe have an inner ear infection (though I'm doubtful now because i'm felt pretty good most of the day), so I asked him if he had any of his ear infection stuff he had two years back.
He never even looked. Nope, he doesn't have it.
So, if the ear starts again, I'll have to go to the South Campus, see one of the campus doctor and get a prescription.
Let's review... Josh is getting a car, dad is putting money down on an apartment for Josh.. and he wouldn't even LOOK to see if he has any of the ear infection stuff for me.
So, this is why my dad is an asshole.

In other news, we went to see E.T. on Saturday.
I think it sort of says something that we were in the second smallest theatre and that there weren't 10 people there.
It says E.T. isn't doing as well as they had hoped.
When I think about it, I'm not surprised. E.T. is a cute movie. It's a fun child's movie.
It isn't what I'd classify a GOOD movie, though. Not like Star Wars. Certainly nothing I needed to see on the big screen again.
Actually, there's a short story here too.
Josh came home really really upset.
As you may recall, we'd planned on seeing LotR on the IMAX Screen Saturday, but we decided that as Josh was really upset, we'd let him pick a movie.
He chose Showtime.
But as the clock nears the time for us to go, he's asleep and, once woken up, doesn't want to go anywhere.
So we went to E.T. instead.
Ah well.

So, I wanted to post my weight of the week again. I'm happy to report a loss of a pound, making my weight of the week 246.
One more pound until I can say I'm no longer obese! Hurrah!

*thinks* what else?
I can't think of anything else specifically going on. Studying alot. Getting annoyed with this GIS class and the level of effort he's expecting and what I'm actually accomplishing. That's about it.
Ciao folks!
I'll try to work on those pictures now. We'll see what I get done.
