Things I have learned
Jun. 20th, 2002 07:17 amIn random order, things I have learned from this mess:
A) Always back up EVERYTHING you want to keep. EVERYTHING! (I don't believe my backups are this old. I lost all my kitty pictures :( )
B) Don't trust Microsoft to have your computer's well-being in mind. It's simply putting out the updates and patches. It's up to YOU to make sure they are good for your machine.
C) Microsoft sucks. What the hell was the point of adding a System Restore feature into Windows ME that doesn't work? And since Windows is so overbloated, how the hell do I save what I have so that I can fix things for next time (or Josh can, if he inherets this computer).
and finally..
D) Having weird dreams about giving three of my cats away to my grandmother but wanting to bring one back home is not a good way to wake up in the morning.
