Yesterday was great! I really love Darien Lake! :D The price was so right, too!
And.. *ahem* I PASSED THE CHALLENGE! I spent no more than $20 at Darien Lake. Go me! =) More money to spend on Saturday :D
5 days! AHEEEHEHEHEEHEEEHEEHEEHEE!! :D :D :D
*ahem* Anyways.
Got two important calls yesterday.
The first one is... I can pick up my Lord of the Rings DVD tonite at midnight. Probably, though, I'll wait till tommorow. :)
Second one is... the double level Lasertron arena is done and on August 11th (SOMEONE forgot my birthday, tho :o ), there will be a going away party for my friend Carl. I'd have to be there at 5:00 PM and I think I'll probably go.
Gotta do something exciting for my birthday, right? ;D
I joined a 3rd edition AD&D game yesterday. Well, not joined, exactly.. I promised I'd play, though :) I enjoying Roleplaying, as some of you know. I know I'll enjoy roleplaying with people I know more than I enjoy roleplaying on a MU* somewhere anyways. It's generally more fun. And the GM (Todd, the guy who invited me to the trip yesterday) said he'd probably allow me to be a Pixie Sorcerer :D I enjoy playing a troublemaking pixie and I'm rather good at it too :D
My throat is killing me, atm. Usually when I lose my voice (due to screaming at roller coasters and stuff) it's back the next day, but my throat sort of hurts. Hope it goes away.
I got Kar a birthday present! I won't say where, but I *KNOW* she's gonna love it.
Actually.. I love it so much, I got one for me too :D

OK, so the Darien Lake report.
But first... Roller Coaster Tycoon II add-ons.
I think RCT2 needs to add some of the following items (and if you can do SOME of the rides there, these don't seem too difficult.)

So, The Darien Lake Report!
We got there about 12:00, went right to the tent (Free Lunch, member? Free admission and Free lunch?) and waited for lunch. Had lunch, back in the park at 1:00.

trillain, Darien Lake sells Pepsi Products, not Coke. That SAID, there's enough OTHER things for the non-pepsi drinkers to partake of (Lemonade, Italian Ice, Fruit Drinks etc.) and I don't recall kareila dying of thirst due to lack of coke last year :)
They've added two new rides, one free, one pay. The new free ride is Shipwreck Falls, which is very refreshing and cool, but sorta suckish. It's a 20 person flume GUARANTEED to get you soaked (and yesterday, we NEEDED it, it was hot and sticky ALL DAY!) So you go up, turn around and go down, *SPLASH* yer soaked.. and the ride is over. The ride lasts, from start to finish, about 30 seconds. BUT... when you get out, you can stand on the bridge and watch OTHER ships come down and get even FURTHER soaked (which I really enjoy doing! :) )
The other new ride is called the SlingShot. It's something like the SkyCoaster (for those who remember that) except you're in a ball attached to two bungee cords. They pull you all the way down, you pull a cord and *SNAP* up and *SNAP* down and *SNAP* up and etc. etc. etc. Makes you look like a giant yoyo! :)
I also looked into antique photos. It's gonna be expensive, but I'd like to force y'all in there (I asked, they'll take 9 people (which is EXACTLY the number of ChaoticMUXers coming :D ) and we can have a pretty picture for me to keep :D
It amuses me to no end how the number of people coming to Darien Lake has grown exponentially.
Two years ago, it was just two people.. my brother josh and I.
Last year, it was four. Josh, Kar, arabella and I.
THIS year, it's 11 or 12...Josh, His friend Silvio, possibly one of their friends, Kar, Rak, sTiLe, Marky, ScottyDoggie, Trillian, Phinnia, Tallin and me.
So I assume next year I'll take a weekend off work and we'll have ALL of my FRIENDS on CHAOTICMUX come down! :D 50 friends, that's what I'm shooting for next year ;)
We'll swarm Darien Lake and TAKE OVER! We'll hold the Superman Ride of Steel hostage! :D :D :D
I love Superman: Ride of Steel. It still scares the shit out of me when you look down and it looks and feels like you're almost vertical and *WHOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!*
So, the old cell phone DOES work at Darien Lake. YAY! :) If it didn't, I would have had to borrow mom's, but I'd much prefer to use my own. :)
I'm running out of things I gotta say. So I think I'll just post this. :)
