Another day, Another dollar
Dec. 13th, 2003 09:15 pmToday has been... eh.
Actually, the past couple days have. Not terrible and depressing, but not wonderful either.
Thursday was quiet and boring and relaxing. Got into Rochester about 7:00 and hung out with
blackfelicula,
dawnstar and
kolys playing games, chatting and otherwise dorking. I came armed with gifts, stuff I had and did not myself want or need anymore, a buttload (5 cups) of magic: the gathering cards for Maureen and John, a game for Oli and Wolf Song cards for Dawn. Everyone seemed to like their presents. The night was spent playing games (including the new one I brought Oli) and looking through Magic cards. Unfortunately, the party broke up at 11:30, before Kristen got there.
So I met Kristen at her house (I think she wanted to see peoples, but it was not to be)
Friday was quiet too. We did some shopping at Wegmans and that was about it for going out. Dawn and Oli came over about 4:00 and we hoped to involved Beth, Matt, Maureen and possibly John too, but Beth was sick and Maureen was grumpy so it was just the four of us, playing games. It wasn't bad or terrible, but I think I had hoped to go out (We had considered going to Jillian's, maybe bowl, maybe play pool, maybe (for me) DDR. (Most likely DDR :D, if it was there), but the snow interfered with our plans (Kristen and I fishtailed in her car on the way TO The 104 (on the corner of her street and Carter), which was not so much fun.), so we hung out with Dawn and Oli a little longer and then went home. Oh well :/
Went to bed semi-late and I woke up at 6:30, which was not so much fun. And then of course, I had to leave early in the morning :/ Which was also not so much fun :/
Actually, that sucked :/
Anyways, said goodbye, made good time to Buffalo (once I left Rochester, the roads were clear, so driving was no problem), stopped at the Clarence exit for food and got to work in time.
Work was... as fun as work might be. I spent the entire time on the register, which was OK. I was amusing myself and the people there were amusing me somewhat, so it wasn't bad.
Then I got.. a check!
It's not alot.. it's about $130... but it's enough to pay a bill (mom will help pay the other one for now).
I WAS going to go see the Loonie Tunes movie, as much in celebration of check (I promised myself I would come first check), but also because it was Saturday night and I didn't want to just stay home :/ Unfortunately the movie is out of the theatres and I dun wanna see Bad Santa alone, so.. eh.. fuckit.
Waiting for Kristen to call now.
That was my past few days. Exciting, no?
Much loves to my dorkus.
