A jobby day

Today's been a very job-oriented day.

I had my second interview with Jacques Whitford for their environmental engineering position. I spoke to two engineers (probably team leaders) who worked in the office I would work in: Denise Molzahn and Donna Nicholson. I got nervous and I started talking too fast and I know that was not so good on my side. OTHERWISE, I think I did fine. I'm not as certain as I was with Mrs. Sarah Archibald (the first interview), but I got the feeling that they seemed to like me. Points in my favor include: A) They are looking for an entry-level engineer, someone fresh out of college. B) They seemed impressed by my modelling-based career and seemed to think that a modeler might fit well within their team. C) They asked me whether it would be possible for me to come to Philadelphia to meet with people face to face (of course I said yes.)
So... now I wait. I don't know how long. They were going to send me contact information but they didn't, so I asked Mrs. Archibald to send it to me so I could send them a thank you letter.
So... back to hoping and praying folks. :)

The other thing was my orientation with Bed, Bath and Beyond. Frankly, it was boring, but.. the ball is rolling and I start my first training shift Friday. Hopefully I enjoy the job. I don't feel as bleak about it, especially if I can get some decent hours.

That's pretty much about it. Snuggles to my dork and I'll keep y'all updated with important and interesting things.
