Yaaay!

So, now on my FIFTH scale (and hopefully this scale, priced at $60 is a KEEPER), my weight is down to 291.5 lbs (in the morning). That means I've gone down by about 3 pounds in 2 weeks.
WOOOOO!!!
This really does make me feel good, to know that the diet and exercise HAS worked, that I HAVE gone down three pounds. Now, yes I hear when you say "maybe you DIDN'T go down 3 pounds. You HAVE gone through five scales and all could be slightly inaccurate in your range. This is true and something I'm aware of.. but 3 pounds in 2 weeks is actually average assuming I've burned off 400 calories/day in the gym each day and am eating well. So... I guess what i NEED now is for the scale to actually work well from now on so I can keep track of my weight loss.

Still, I'm happy. The scale confirms what I think is true.. that I have been losing weight. It will take a while to get rid of my stomach, but at least I think I'm losing it. So it's all good.

Not much else.

Did I mention (i'm typing in livejournal) that Janine doesn't sound like I thought she'd sound. I dunno what it is I thought she'd sound like, but that's not it.
Oh well.

you prolly did lose weight
the older we get the more effort goes into losing small amounts of weight
like if you were 17 and did that you would have lost like 15 already..
my ex went from 350 to like 180 in about 3-4 months.. he went bald from it though

Seriously, tho, I don't wanna lose that much that fast. That requires the kind of diet I don't wanna go on.. like the all grapefruit diet or something.
What I wanna do is lose weight slowly. A pound or two a week.
Then I should be able to keep all my hair :D

i am too lazy to lose weight.. and not so hateful of my body anyway where i really neeeeeeeeed to lose it or i would be depressed.. i wouldn't like to gain anymore though
but no matter when i am in new york (as i am now) i always lose weight.. no more cheesesteaks and hoagies to deal with :P

Besides, if yer in New York, that means you can get official New York style delis. Though, actually, if you order well there, you can lose weight instead of gain.
Why are you in New York? Visiting Friends? Compwizard?
And do YOU know when Emusic.Com is sending out Mink Car?
Trying to decide if I should buy it on the 11th or not.

Mmmhmm,

Twice now I've heard it in Lochjournal and it's not what I expected. I expected something, i think, a little higher, a little more "little girly"... like Emily's/Destiny's voice is, I think.
I dunno why.

No one sounds, I think, like what we expect them to sound like.
