It's been an interesting 24 hrs.

Got a surprising call at 6:00 PM yesterday, just as we were putting our spaghetti on: [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar and [livejournal.com profile] kolys were in town and wanted to meet up with my for supper. I told them that we were making some, but that I'd meet them afters. We agreed on a time, appended it, appended it once again and finally met in the dark parking lot of the Boulevard Mall at 7:45 on a Sunday night. Of course, the mall was closed, so we stood outside for a while chatting until my poor little ears began to get REALLY cold and I suggested we move inside to someplace.
At my suggestion, we went to Denny's for "coffee" (well.. a diet coke and two raspberry iced teas). We sat around at Denny's, chatting about.. more or less whatever came to our mind till 9:30.
Actually, I'm still a little annoyed at the waitress. Over an hour and a half, she only checked on us three times. I WAS feeling sorry for her and WAS ready to order a dessert, but she never checked back, so...
It occured to me, as I came home, we never tipped her either. I paid for the three drinks (big spender, me ;) ) and left and we forgot to give her a tip.
Oops.
Went to bed, got up early (for the cleaning lady, Linda) and mom hits me with "Oh, will you clean out the wet vac? Josh never got to it..."
Ummm... *unhappy*
So I tromp outside, clean out the wet vac.. and manage to throw out the filter. The insides of the wet vac was DISGUSTING.
This is a little known truth, folks... kitty litter + lots of water = sticky, nasty mess :P
So I tried to clean it out, and ended up getting wet kitty litter crap on my jacket and shirt.
Not happy!
Change shirts and head out to the gym.. which was OK.
Went to class, came home and just drove mom home (she had to drop her car off at the garage because her bumper is coming off)

In totally unrelated news, I made a new LJ picture. I got the idea from a Q&A site. I like it. I find it amusing.

I hope to have a chance to play The Sims tonite (didn't get to yesterday, having met Oliver and Dawn instead)... hoping to...

Not much else I can think of to say. So hasta.

Oops! Well, she wasn't very attentive anyway. Still... yeah, I feel kinda bad now. But oh well. :)

Note the use of the word "kinda". I'm not losing any sleep over it. :)

It's so odd to be reading someone's journal entry and then realize it's not the person writing you thought it was.

Until I saw the "typo" picture--very cute, by the way--I thought it was Kar. Didn't she just meet dawnstar and kolys?

Yes, I met them a couple of weeks ago, and I wrote about it then. :)

Howard did not get to meet them at that time - this was his first time to see them.
