The color of infinity inside an empty glass

I've no doubt you've busted your ass to get where you are. Just one thing though - you could have done everything you've done, but were it not for being white, male, and heterosexual, it's quite possible you wouldn't have made it anywhere. That's privilege at work. It may seem like you got where you are because of what you've done, but the problem in society is that who you are is what makes people consider what you do. Persons without privilege often don't even make it in the door, no matter how good they are.
