I just haven't had much to report, but I guess I'll discuss what's been going on in my life. It's not nothing, not nothing I've been able to discuss. :)
Did anyone else enjoy yesterday's Dragon Tails? As a cat owner, I found it MOST appropriate. :D How many times have you been ready to get up and do something when something small, furry and cute hops onto your lap and purrs so you can't get up? I know this has happened fairly often in my house.
Especially, nowadays, when I want to go to bed. I go upstairs, take my shoes off and out of nowhere "Mrow?" Out of nowhere comes something fuzzy, white and Mousey telling me it's time to pet him. :)
He's so cute :)

Let's see... so, I joined an RP MUX, Metro: Toronto by Night. I've been itching for a while to play a Mage (World of Darkness Mage, preferably, I like the way their magic system works.), so I finally stopped whingeing and decided to get myself a character :) I like it there. The people seem rather friendly and the RP is interesting. :)

What else? Oh! I've started joining a Tuesday night "Environment Policy" group. We meet at my professor, Dr. Rabideau's house at 6:00 with today's book or article of the week and discuss it. So far we've discussed Love Canal and Economics vs. Ecology (since you have to FUND programs like the Clear Water Act and Superfund). This group was part of the reason I watched that movie Rashomon that I wanted to discuss. Maybe I still will, eventually, when I feel less lazy.

What else? Work is moving along on the Thesis project. Finally came up with a way to get average velocity and dispersion coefficients from a full velocity field. My boss is away for the next month, though, on vacation and while I do have a job to do while he's gone, it's not time-stressed. Hurrah. :)

Not a whole lot else. 16 days until people start coming to Buffalo :) I hope we have shirts. [livejournal.com profile] xb95 suggested that [livejournal.com profile] doubletake may actually have gotten too busy moving and such to draw the shirts and that he isn't in contact with her at the moment to ask. So.. I dunno. I guess we'll see. I'd still like the shirts if it's possible.

That's about all I can think of to talk about. So.. I'll post :D

UPDATE: Wow, the Lochjournal 1.0 Update Feature works, yay! Anyways... I forgot to mention the CD I bought online. TMBG came out with a new "old" CD called "They Got Lost" on The TMBG online catalog. This CD is only being sold online or at their concerts and I figure.. why wait for August 22nd, right? I suspect I have all those songs on MP3 from TMBG Unlimited, but... hey, I'm a freak, so.. :)
So.. reposting... again...

Darnit, you're not supposed to buy things for yourself this close to your birthday! Bad pixie!

*looks down* Sowwy, Kar kar! :)
Is this a bad time to mention I've pre-ordered "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" too, then? ;)

Too? What else are you getting?
Actually, I have no idea what i want for my birthday this year, except to be at Darien Lake with y'all.
I think I'm going to make my mom go to the Eastern Hill mall and get me some of these great tie-dye shirts with designs (like this one I have and love of a witch and a couple of faeries in the moonlight).
Past that, I'm just not desperate for anything.

I've actually played there. Lots of quality RP, but the staff is (or was, as of a year or two ago) somewhat lacking in friendliness, impartiality, and courtesty. There are a few exceptions -- Tybalt was always nice to me. But something I figured you'd wanna be aware of. Of course, by now, there could be an entirely different set of people in place. :P

Not too busy...or trying not to be...parents showed up a day earlier than they said they would, illness flared up AGAIN...I've got a chunk of time devoted to them this evening. I need to know how many of which sizes to get...

I'll email everyone right now and reply to this with the sizes. :)

OK, as of Saturday Morning at 9:00, I have the following T-Shirt sizes:
Two Mediums
Three Larges
Four Extra-Larges
and TalPhinnia ask, if it isn't too much trouble and if it's doable, that if you can get a baby-sized shirt for Sean, they'd take that.

So... is it possible to have these out before Marky leaves (did you finish the design?) or, more realistically, did you want to talk about alternative methods of payment and getting them to me (which I'm not sure what we can do, but... let's find out where we stand first.)
