My day.

Bah.
I think today could be even worse than yesterday.
I know I build myself up to it, though...

I was on the TMBG official Chat Room when two things were announced..
1) Tickets for the shows in Toronto today aren't sold out
2) TMBG SAID they'd come back to Buffalo (which means, hopefully, they'll come but I guess it depends on their manager)

So... someone suggested.. hey, you should go.. go go go go go..
and I tried..
I tried very hard to do it.

Hell, I even got my aunt to leave the key near her door in case i wanted to crash in her place in Toronto

I was originally going to go up there tonite... stay till the concer was over (11 or 12).. then go right home..
Or, POSSIBLY, in the end, go to the concert, crash at my aunt's.. then come home..

But that's a LONG drive, alone, in a 91 car that I just put $400 into, for someone who needs to save money for Chicago in a month :/
And in the end, I guess reality won.

So... I'm just very depressed and disappointed and antisocial. I can't be angry. This is my choice. This probably IS the best choice, even if it isn't the one I want to make...
And... so much for my last hurrah this summer.

Its been a bust of a day here too. The home-owners association just denied my request for a privacy fence in my back yard. Been saving 2 years to build it.

So much for my imaginary walled english-style garden..

perhaps i should just toss a couch on the front porch and set up a bug zapper for entertainment. sweet revenge.

They have restrictions on the size and refuse to allow privacy fencing. (blocks off the view of neighbors) I think they want to develop a "community" feeling, where everybody talks to their neighbors in the backyard, and gets to know each other. Following Kar's example - I may resort to "ipod" therapy to make myself feel better.
