I am now a proud owner of DDR Max and 1 Dance Pad
I've been playing since 11:00
I'd still be playing but I have to go to Dave's birthday party at Lasertron at 4:15 and my mom wants to sleep anyways.
I've done 1 foot songs (only one which I've gotten AA on.. Ordinary World... the other two.. maybe they're too slow or something. I should go back to them.), one 2 foot song (which I did pretty well on.. uh...I think it was "Let's talk it over") and I did Cutie Chaser (got A on the practice but only C when I played it once in game mode before mom made me turn it off)
Anyways... yeah.. the game is bloody cool.
But now I must go to a birthday party and have fun at Lasertron!
Ciao folksies! :D

I've been playing a lot of DDR lately. (DDR Konamix on PS1 .. if I had a PS2 I'd have MAX already). I can't stand playing slow songs and getting A's :) Well, sometimes, when I need a self esteem boost, heh. I don't know about MAX, but Konamix doesn't give you an A unless you get all perfects and greats. I shoot for a B score and I like to play 4-6 foot songs. I usu play on Trick. It's ka-razy. I'd do a LOT better if I had a better pad, too ... I could probably handle 5-7 feet.

I haven't played much Konamix, but my impression was that the scoring system was somewhat different. Does Konamix have AA's? (Supposedly you can get a AAA with a perfect dance, but I wouldn't know.) On MAX I have gotten A's with a few goods and/or almosts. I've been practicing each song until I get AA, then moving on.

My impression is that Konamix is really harsh.

I *think* this is how it works, might be wrong:

All Perfect = AA
All Perfect/Great = A
Mostly Perfect/Great = B

And then down from there.

An A means a lot in Konamix. Especially when playing Holic or something like era on trick.

Yeah, in Max we get an AA if we get all perfects and greats.
I strive for that.
If I can do that in a song, I feel like I can probably hande that foot difficulty.
I now have two AAs under my belt in as many days.. for "Ordinary World" and "Gambol". (Both 1 foot songs) Go me ^^
