Dawn's Questions
1. Why is Birdhouse your theme song? (specific lyrics that apply, and how they apply... or some sort of explanation)
When I was at RIT, two things occured...
1) An ex-girlfriend of mine who swore she could see not only auras but music listened to a copy of birdhouse and said something akin to "this music is really you. I mean REALLY you."
2) I spent alot of my time trying to help and protect those that I felt needed it.
With lyrics like Blue Canary in the Outlet by the Lightswitch who watches over you
and There's a picture opposite me of my primitive ancestry, who stood on rocky shores and keep the beaches shipwreck clean
and Bluebird of happiness, like the longiness Symphonette, it doesn't rest the song just felt RIGHT for a theme song.
And so it is.

2. What drew you towards Environmental Engineering as a career choice?
Heh. A long and odd road.
Short answer: A presentation by Dr. Rabideau on groundwater remediation and (what caught my attention) how you have to challenge yourself to use a little of many sciences to be an environmental engineeri. Also, I just didn't enjoy the first years of aerospace engineering. It was, frankly, dull and boring and I hated it.

3. If you could never listen to TMBG again, who would become your favorite artist?
Never listen to TMBG again?
NEVER LISTEN TO TMBG AGAIN????!

I dunno. At the moment, second place is usually tied by Barenaked Ladies, Weird Al and Moxy Fruvous.

4. What is your all-time favorite kind of cookie?
At the moment it's White Chip Macademia. Mmmmmmmm...

5. When do you have time free that kolys and I can hang out with you? :)
A TOUGH one!
I dunno.
There are two things at play..
1) I am sometimes buy on weekends, though if I need to or want to, I can usually get off
2) I haven't traveled up to Rochester lately. The reason is that I'm still a little antsy about my car. I DO still wanna do Darien Lake. Just have fairly vivid nightmares of it suddenly dying between here and there.
Basically, if you think you can make it over to Buffalo one weekend, let me know a couple days in advance and I'll make sure I can meet you. :)

Circa's Questions
1. If you could be one other person for the day, who would you be?
I think I'd be a rock musician of some sort.. a well known one. I have dreams of being a musician, of really being able to make music and have others love it. Just for one day, though.
I'm fairly fond of being myself.

2. What would you choose - adventure and excitement or family and stability?
Heh. Family and Stability. I'm so boring.
Adventure's all well and good under certain circumstances, but I'm pretty easy to please and just as happy spending afternoons watching TV with my loved one or playing video games than doing anything EXCITING

3. What role in any movie would you most like to play and why?
Right now.. and only for right now, I'd pick Bruce from Bruce almighty. It'd be incredibly nifty to play god for a week. And he ended up with what he really wanted in the end. That's one more than me.

4. Are you ever going to be in the UK, to see your (maybe!) favourite Brit? :P
I really hope to, but I have no idea when.

5. What are the five most important qualities in a partner?
Sense of Humor, Intelligence, A good heart, open-mindedness... and breasts. No manbreasts either. REAL breasts.

Elrylas's Questions
1.) How did you first get introduced to TMBG?
Back when I was a wee lad of only 18, a long ten years ago, I was part of the School Yearbook. While working on the yearbook, we'd listen to tapes. One of the tapes we'd listen to was "Flood", TMBG's 1990 album. Hooked does not begin to describe it.
Hence my love affairs with Them began.

2.) Before you tried DDR, what did you think of it?
I wasn't sure WHAT to think of it. I knew that alot of my friends were into it. I knew that many of them (including trillain) suggest I give it a try and I knew that I did, indeed, want to try it. I had, before playing the game, heard such songs as Boom Boom Dollar, Butterfly, End of the Century, Drop the Bomb etc. and I wanted to dance to them (not understanding that indeed different DDRs have different songs and that they don't USE those songs anymore ;.;). One day I went out on a limb and just bought DDR Max and a Pad.
The rest is history.

3.) How the hell did your mp3 collection get so huge??
I collect. I've been collecting for over two years. I was using ftp before napster (ugh), napster until it closed, audiogalaxy before IT closed and Kazaa now.

4.) So... err... why a pixie?
Fairly long story.
I started RIT in 93 and belonged, for a few months, to the computer science house. In the computer science house, everyone gets a nickname. My nickname was "Troll" due to my hair (think the old toys with the long untamable hair that were fairly hot in the early 90s).
Eventually, I found my way onto newsgroups (alt.fan.monty-python specifically) where I became Knighted and was SIR Troll.
That name went with me to the MUSHing world.
About the same time, I was attempting to write a fantasy story based on.. certain events that had happened on alt.fan.monty-python that I still carried a bit of a grudge about. One of the characters that made it into the story was LITE. Despite the TMBG song, LITE was not a canary.. but a little fire sprite.
In the winter of 94, I decided I didn't feel like a Sir Troll anymore and went with the name LITE.. and described myself as a little fire sprite. But sprites were tiny and didn't do much except helped control weather and nature and stuff, so the character metamorphed into a mischievious trouble-making pixie.
Where did cookies get involved? And the not cute? I honestly don't recall that. It just sort of.. happened along the way.

5.) If we could hang out for one day together, what would you want to do?
The same types of things I'd want to do with any of my friends when they come to Buffalo.. amusement parks, laser tag, computer games, card games.. anything fun like that. :)
