I got off the phone with my dork about 11:00, went to bed, actually cut my mom off mid-story (which was probably a bad idea, but I was exhausted), went to bed and.. nothing.
Absolutely NOTHING until 2:00.
The only plus side is that I got to finish a really good book, part of which I bookmarked because I think I really want to post a section of the book to my LJ.
What the FUCK is wrong with me? Why in hells bells can't I sleep as often as I need to?
Yesterday was pretty quiet. I did go see "American Wedding" and it was.. about what I expected: Cute, Gross, Funny.. I basically enjoyed it. :)
And Josh.. oh god.. Josh is cracking me up.
He signed up for the school newspaper. He's writing an advice column. This, all by itself, is sufficiently amusing but it hardly ends there :)
First he's looking for a picture on the internet because he doesn't want to show his own face. So he's looking through for a "hot" guy. I suggest he check out Am I Hot Or Not, but he has one.. some big muscular guy with a sixpack and huge biceps and tricepts.
And this is the picture Josh is going to use to be him for his column. *dies laughing*
The best part are the jokes. My cousin Jaime is.. I swear she spends all week coming up with ways to get Josh (and luckily he has a sense of humor about it). So Jaime's comment this week was "What happens if someone sends you a question asking what to do if he gets a letter from school before his mother did?" (Long story - Basically Josh was less than academically minded in high school and would often get warnings tell him he's not doing so well. One day he grabs one out of the mail after I picked the mail up and saw it was there. So I tell mom, she opens it up, and it's a letter that he's doing much better in Math. He was grounded two weeks for lying and hiding the mail.)
So... I find the whole thing entierly too amusing.
On the KoC front, I tried to upgrade to Fortress last night, but woke up to see that two people together robbed me of nearly 200,000 gold. Because, you know, it doesn't already take forever to get these upgrades. *annoy*
I have a plan, though. I think I'm going to try to save up 320,000 gold (which I should have in a couple of hours) and sell off some Dragonskins to cover the cost, then go and buy the Dragonskins again. That seems easier to do and like it might actually work if I'm fast enough.
Anyways, there isn't much to say. I'm exhausted (for a change) and a bit cranky, so.. hasta lavista, folksitas.
Back to work I go.
