This "weekend"

Yes, the weekend was.. shorter than I expected due to going up to Rochester a day later than originally expected. But.. it mostly worked out.
For those that had been keeping up, the ORIGINAL plan was to come up to Rochester Friday, do SOMETHING couplish Friday Night until ecwoodburn went to work, probably watch a movie, then go to sleep late.
Saturday we were going to do something during the day, maybe see some people, then do the Maize Maze with everyone (Like I said, original plans, before everyone backed out)
Sunday was up in the air and I don't think we had any actual plans.
Between some need to for couple times and getting up to Rochester, here's what we ACTUALLY did:

Saturday
Pulled into Rochester a little before 7:00. The two of us got a little clingy and spent an impromptu hour and a half or so just having downtime/couple-time.
Looked at the clock and it was like "Well, Maize Maze is out." as the two of us hadn't actually eaten food yet.
So we thought about it, remembered poor hbbtrbbtbcnbt's Friday post and decided to kidnap her and take her out to dinner. as she'd had a rough week and seemed willing to get together to do the Maze anyways. Got to her house about 9:00, suggested dinner and off we went to Ground Round for burgers and shakes XD.
Ended up at six pockets again afterwards and the three of us played an amusing couple of games of pool. It was.. good. It was good for all concerned to see people. :)
Went to bed, content, happy and with the girl I love.
It was a good night :)

Sunday
Woke up at 9:45, tried to watch some National Geographic special Todd had lent me a while back about the Lord of the Rings, but it was.. dull and boring and I turned it off fairly quickly. Opened and worked on a puzzle I brought up like a month ago to work on together. Worked on that for a while, got online for a while, started feeling tired and a little off (My throat has been bothering me all weekend. Hopefully it's just the tail end of the cold and not the beginning fo something else.
Decided ahead of time that it would just be a good day for some downtime/us-time.
Ate lunch, worked on the puzzle, snuggled, just enjoyed each other's company. The time passed quickly.
Decided I wanted to take her out to dinner (which worked out anyways since neither of us had thought ahead of time and taken anything out for dinner and we're both getting a little sick of chicken nuggets and perogies)
Got out and there was a beautiful sunset so I suggested 'Hey, wanna go to the beach?'. Ran home, got jackets and got to the beach just in time to miss it, ah well. But we cuddled under a blanket and we talked and we enjoyed watching the stars come out.
Then it was cling-time as we both realized I had to leave very soon. BEFORE I went, though, I had an idea. Taking all the LJ entries the two of us have posted about each other (including this one), printing them up and putting them in a binder so I will always remember :)
Went home, the ride home was quiet and boring.. then went to bed.

It was.. a shorter than I'd like, but good weekend.
