I've got a new picture.
I stole it off someone who left comment on [livejournal.com profile] flashman's last entry.

I'm alot worried, still, about the world in general. I hear last night that the government CONFIRMED that 8 or 9 people were stopped possibly trying to hijack planes in two new york airports. According to CNN.com, all but one have been released which means we may have gotten lucky and actually caught a possible terrorist in the act!

I'm a lot upset about Bush's declaring today a "National Day of Remembrance and Mourning." So go to the church on your lunch break :P This isn't what the country needs. We need a day to sit back and take care of our own. I don't give a shit about showing the world we're still ticking now... and the idea that we're supposed to go to church on our lunch break? BE SERIOUS!

In other news, Fall Fest has been "postponed" until an unknown later date. Fall Fest is our big fall concert outside. We had 3 Doors Down and Everclear scheduled to be here and I guess they can't come. I hope they can come back, what with their busy (I'm sure) touring schedules and what not. At least doing the "Beach Sweep 2001" should be easy without all the crap on the ground from the concert.

Not much else to say. Still feel like I'm living in a bubble of sorts. Life still doesn't feel the same...

Hasta,

Is the world suddenly a much more terrible place?
Do you have strong feelings that life is supremely sacred? or that the war must be avoided at all costs?
Then [livejournal.com profile] antiwar is a Livejournal Communitee for you. The Anti Bombing or War journal where Life is supremely sacred and there is never a reason for violence.
I can't say I agree with this sort of Idealism and Innocence, but I respect it and so want to spread the word.
