Yesterday was, altogether, not the best of days.
Let's start with the fact that for reasons I'm unsure of, I was EXTREMELY hungry most of yesterday. I made a real pig of myself. I couldn't help it, tho. I'd eat, clean up and still be hungry! So I'd eat a little bit more.
Before the end of the day, I had made a total pig of myself. I even indulged in way too much sweets.
It's not the end of the world and it hardly destroys my diet, but it was annoying anyways.
I wonder why I was so hungry yesterday...
That's not all, tho...
I dunno what happened, if it's because of this bug I have or low blood sugar or something, but I was on the treadmill yesterday and I suddenly got hit with a bit of a dizzy spell. Shook it off. Kept running and was suddenly facing the treadmill. I think I was dizzy enough I wasn't jogging right and managed to trip over my shoelace. Not fun. I'm OK, but I ended up going home with only 13 minutes of exercise behind me.
Then we went to dinner at my grandmother's house and grandma's upstairs neighbor, Laura, had dinner with us. The conversation turned to the problems in the catholic church, the problems in corporate America (they're saying Adelphia (the company whose Cable Modem I use and who is setting up a new shop in Buffalo) could be in a bit of Enron-like trouble themselves.
The one thing I'll give about our generation is that things don't stay quiet. The sh*t really hit the fan with the priests molesting young children and everyone's looking hard at their priests (and themselves). The sh*t hit the fan with Enron and everyone's looking really closly at big business finances.
I think that this is a good thing. It leads to much needed change.
Anyways.. where was I?
Laura had dinner with us.. and she argued and argued and argued. Sometimes Laura is better than other times, but yesterday she was in a rare rare mood. :P Dinner was OK, but the after-dinner conversation was lacking somewhat due to Laura's... issues.
Ah well.
Today wasn't too bad, but I'm back at school and EITs are coming waaaay too quickly! :/
Oh well.
Hopefully tommorow is a better day.
Hasta, folksies! See ya later!
