Ye Gods, you guys are spammy!
Don't get a chance to check LJ for one day and there's 30 some posts to read through!
Oi!

So, briefly, a run down of what I thought of the concert.

A) It rocked!
B) Damn me losing my playlist pad in the dark. Good thing [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar kept one.
C) It rocked!
D) I'm fairly sure we got ALMOST the same set list [livejournal.com profile] kareila did. (So maybe [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar should check against it.
With some exceptions...
For one, Billy Joel started doing Shuffle Off to Buffalo and NOT Sweet Home Alabama.
Don't think he did a Matter of Trust. Know he started off his set with Scenes from an Italian Restaurant.
E) It rocked!
F) They did not play We Didn't Start The Fire, Downeaster Alexa, Pressure, Candle in the Wind... Dammit! I love these songs!
G) It rocked!
H) More Billy Joel! Less Elton John! I just happen to like alot more Billy Joel songs than Elton John.
I) Did I mention it rocked?
J) I think, between the two of them, Elton John is a better more precise piano player, but Billy Joel is, no doubt, the better showman. I think Elton John is a better piano player based on the fact that he was improvising (somewhat) fairly complexly to his songs. Whereas Billy Joel was playing the keyboard with his butt.. and making it sound decent!
K) Have I told you lately that it rocked?
L) They were HOT! Both of them! There was just alot of energy around the whole performance.
M) And finally (cause I can't think of anything else)... it rocked!

That's about it, I think.
Gonna post. Ciao folksies! :D
