How it works (for those who haven't seen it on [livejournal.com profile] soreth's journal or someplace else. Ask to be interviewed and I'll put on my Dan Rather mask and ask you five deeply probing questions (or whatever enters my mind at the time). Post the answers in your journal and ask other people if they'd like to be interviewed.
So who wants me to probe them? Deeply, even? ;)

1. How many cookies do you eat in an average week?
*laugh* In real life, I'd argue it's somewhere between 10 and 20.
In virtual life, as many as I can get my grubby little hands on.

2. You just inherited $100,000. What'll you do with it?
hmm.. I'd probably buy a new car, maybe a vacation somewhere, pay off my student loans, save the rest for later, I guess

3. Any plans to visit the West Coast sometime?
This year's WEFTEC is in Los Angeles. I certainly wouldn't mind going, if for no other reason than to cheer my alma mater and hope they win the student competition two years in a row.
Past that, no plans.

4. What's the strangest thing you've ever ordered in a restaurant?
Me, personally? Probably something from the Indian restaurant I went to once. I'm fairly conservative in my food interersts...Chinese, American and Eurasian food only. (I'm not even a huge fan of mexican/spanish cooking)

5. What's the most important goal in your life, and why?
Family. I want a family of my very own. A wife, a child or two, a few pets.
I'm not sure how complete I'd consider my life without one.

1. Pick 5 words/short phrases to describe yourself
Silly. Intelligent. Angry. Tall. Animal Lover.

2. Read anything interesting lately? Why did you pick it up and what made you keep reading?
I'm always reading interesting things. I'm a voracious reader.
The book I just finished reading is "Artemis Fowl" by Eoin Colfer. I picked it at Barnes and Nobles off a display that read "Waiting for Harry Potter? Read these". It's a kids book, but it was an amusing fantasy novel too and while I've read better books, it was still an amusing read.

3. Your Ideal Home: Where is it and what's inside?
My ideal home is.. where my family and friends are. Seriously. I'm not particularly rooted to Buffalo nor, at the moment, any place else (though that may change over time.)
What's inside? A family, a selection of cats and/or dogs. My belongings. Not sure what else to say here.

4. Tell me about a focal point in your life -- a time you can look back and say, "After that, everything was different."
There were a few. The biggest change in my life was when my father divorced my mom when I was 13 and left us with nothing but the clothes on our backs. That was the time when I looked around me, totally reevaluated my life and decided that hell or high water would not stop me from living the kind of life I want to live and from being a better person and father than that bastard was.

5. Anything you'd like to say to me?
Umm.. not that I can think of? What were you expecting?
