Do all those that need to get to my house KNOW how to get to my house or do I need to send directions? Just one of those details I wanna make sure are covered.

Finished the Music X-Change CDs today... I only made three copies since most of you are planning on looting and pillaging my hard drive anwyays. One copy is for [livejournal.com profile] trillain, One for [livejournal.com profile] kholnuu and one is extra in case someone wants to just take it.
It's a good mix. I'm pretty happy with it. It's got a little bit of everything and very much has the "Taint of LITE" to it.

Anyways... er.. yeah.. *brain fart*
I guess I'll just post.

So my day was... interesting.

Didn't sleep so well yesterday, but was oddly awake. I knew, though, that I needed a good nights sleep.
Happily, I got it. But I woke up tired.
I can only assume that yesterday I was so tired, I was.. the opposite of tired.

So I woke up tired and groggy.
Get dressed, cut back the bush, burn the last Music X-change CD and get ready to go to work.
Get into car, start it.. and.. the car is oddly.. loud. OK... that's nice.
Start to drive off and I hear an odd metalic sound.
Turn the car off, get out, look at the bottom of the car.. and the pipe connecting the catalytic converter with the muffler is hanging down and touching the street. LOVELY.

Rewind a little.. within 6 months of getting the car two years ago, my tailpipe was going the same thing. So I headed off to Cole Muffler and got a new Muffler and tailpipe for a reasonable price and it came with a lifetime warranty.
Another note, about 9 or 10 months ago, I got into a car accident and destroyed my hood. A couple months ago, I got it fixed and had the guy look at an odd loudness coming from my engine. I think it was holes in the catalytic converter. He "patched" them temporarily.

So, today.. I go back to Cole.. they did a good job with my muffler the first time and they were close. I was early so they looked at my car right away.. muffler was shot, tailpipe too and the pipe hanging down.. shot. Also, there were holes in the catalytic converter.
Altogether to fix, it would cost $515 (the Muffler was still under warrantee), but 4/5 of that cost was for a new catalytic converter.
So I got the guy to do everything but the catalytic converter and it cost me $110, which isn't bad.

So I pull into school about 11:30, grab lunch and FINALLY get my chance to talk to [livejournal.com profile] ecwoodburn who has to go to [livejournal.com profile] hbbtrbbtbcnbt's to get her battery and wipers changed. She leaved at 1:00 or so and I get some more work stuff done.

At 1:00 [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar posts a lovely message about how it's supposed to rain tommorow.. thunderstorms, actually.
God, what the fuck is with the summer this year? it's been... a bad summer, weatherwise (bad winter too, actually, weatherwise).. it's been cold, stormy and not nice. Also, the weather's been INCREDIBLY unstable. Will it rain or will it sun? No one knows.. storms that are supposed to move on stay. Storms that are supposed to hit us never get here.
Someone wanna tell me what's going on here?

After getting some work stuff done, I go off to get gas (desperately needed) and my interior (of the car) cleaned.
Then I go get Lasertron Tickets ($8 each.. not bad compared to about $11 at the door) and go home to take a much needed nap.

Of course, the moment I went to lay down, EVERYONE (catwise) decided to come and annoy me. Cleo wants to lick my face, Smokey wants to cuddle with me until she hears neat things out the window, then watches out that, Mousey DEMANDS to be pet.. not just once, but three times while I'm napping, waking me up.
Wake up groggily about $5 and try to mow the lawn.
.. Except that the lawnmower won't start. Check the gas tank. it's low. :p

Mom wakes up and we go to Original Pancake for Dinner (which frankly we've gone to too often lately and I'm bored of.), then I go to Wegmans and get MOST of the rest of the expected foodstuffs.
For those of you coming down Friday and Saturday, expected foodstuff contribution is $8. It's currently $7 and I still have to buy burgers (I didn't like what Wegmans was selling, hot dog buns and hamburger rolls and sub rolls.. (and yes, [livejournal.com profile] janinedog, I remember Genoa Salami :).. 1/4 lb. of it. ). I'll get the rest of the stuff sometime Friday so it's fresh for Saturday.

Got gas for the mower, came home and mowed the lawn and got online.
Was hoping to see [livejournal.com profile] ecwoodburn but I'm guessing [livejournal.com profile] hbbtrbbtbncbt has kidnapped her (for 8 hours? Ye Gods, Beth!)

So... that's been my INTERESTING day.
Everyone pray for me! I want to see TMBG! No lightning! No stupidity like not covering the equipment! .. preferably no rain at all, but I'll watch them in the rain. Let me see TMBG! PLEASE!

So, anyways...
I'll post this. :)
