Goodbye Jaspreet
Jul. 15th, 2004 03:56 pmJaspreet, the girl who trained me less than four months ago and has almost always been patient and found the time to help me when I was confused has left the building. For good. She's heading off to live in Michigan with her husband. She already has a job as one of the companies who would be our requestors if we still had the FEMA contract.
Of all the people who have left recently, I'll miss her the most.
I wish her the best of luck with her husband and with the new job, but.. it won't be the same with her gone as it was with her here.

Right now, I'm really tired. And that's probably nothing compared to how tired I'll be tommorow.
The plan is to go home at 5:00, make dinner, have it ready for Kristen when she gets in. eat quickly, nap until about 8, head to Baltimore, go see Carbon Leaf, then go home.. probably 11:30 (depends on if Carbon Leaf can get a chance to meet with their fans or not. Kristen wants to chat and I wouldn't mind getting a CD and getting it signed. If I DO get a CD, it'll probably be Echo Echo, since Kristen will get the new one and I LIKE (most of) Echo Echo.
Speaking of CDs, hopefully when I get home, the Music Exchange CD from.. someone A won't say... will be there waiting for me. New music always good.
Wonder if Laurel ever got the CD I sent her last week sometime.
