An Odd Dream
Apr. 29th, 2005 06:12 amI had an odd dream last night..
I was... in some amalgamation of my apartmetn and my current office. I think all the cubicles were gone, leaving a pretty spacious apartment with all sorts of little niches that became rooms.
I was sulking around the "apartment" for a while and it suddenly becomes obvious why.
On the TV is a video called "X" which is currently showing Carbon Leaf playing/singing.. I don't know what song. And somewhere in all this Billy Joel is there as well and he's doing a number, possibly with Carbon Leaf.
Barenaked Ladies appears too to do a number.
Cut the video back and it's... not a concert. It's a wedding reception for my MOTHER and another man.
A wedding reception that I didn't even know about until I saw the DVD and I wasn't invited to!
Needless to say, I was pretty pissed that my mom had gotten married without me.
Somewhere, in the video, was a part where a muppet playerd my mom before her marriage with my dad, long hair and all. I don't remember what it was about, but I think it was about why my dad ended up being a complete loser.
So... somehow my mom got remarried and it became bigger than Camilla and wazzizface.
I call home, demanding to speak to my mother, even get Josh, but "mom isn't home" (Bullshit!) so I'm getting more and more angry and trying to get her..
... and then I wake up.
This dream was AWFULLY vivid and I wouldn't be shocked if having the iPod play in the background (My 5 Star Playlist) had something to do with the bands in the dream, but... geez.
*shakes his head and tries to start his day*
