01. I love card games, board games, word and logic puzzles, and SOME RPGs.
02. I don't play many video games, but the few I do enjoy, I do pretty well with.
03. I used to think I would be an astronaut or a scientist when I grew up. (specifically a paleontologist)
04. I've not much of a writer, but I have some really awesome stories inside my head.
05. I learned to read at age four.
06. I actually love doing math - part of why engineering doesn't scare me, I guess :)
07. Science has always been my favorite subject in school.
08. There is very little in this world that I actually hate.
09. There are some aspects to this world that I doubt I will ever forgive.
10. I never cared for the cola wars. I only picked Pepsi over Coke because they had put money into an anti-drug organization I belonged to in High School. I thought that was cool.
11. I really got into soda in college. I switched to diet about two years ago but have yet to (even mostly) wean myself off it.
12. I wish I had more time to read.
13. I average approximately 1 book a week, depending on the size of the book and what other reading material I get into (such as Strategy Guides)
14. I'm currently rereading Jurassic Park, for the 5th or 6th time.
15. Sometimes random things make me sad.
16. I wish I had time to be a college DJ again.
17. Most of the important knowledge I actually use I learned from nonacademic environs.
18. Although I have many gay and bisexual friends, I most definately am not.
19. I find it very hard to let go of friendships, even when they are very bad for me.
20. I like MU* but I don't think I could let it consume my life again.
21. I am intensely intelligent in some ways, and in other ways I'm hopelessly naive.
22. I got into Star Trek and Star Wars at age four and never got unhooked.
23. I recently got hooked on Farscape.
24. Kristen and I have talked about it, and we're not interested in opening our relationship - what we share with each other is more than enough to keep us happy.
25. I'm okay with talking about my flaws; I know I have them, and I'd rather know what they are than live in denial.
26. While I know perfection will never be attained, it is my life's goal to be the best me I can be.
27. I am often wrong, and I don't think it makes me any less of a person to own up to it.
28. I am generally a happy person.
29. I'm not on any ongoing medication, unless you count occasional allergy treatment.
30. I'm currently fairly healthy (as far as I know)
31. Pain and health issues, as a general rule, scare the hell out of me.
32. I don't get enough exercise. (I need to go back to the gym once my life stabilizes again)
33. I made it down to under 250 lbs once and then let myself go.
34. I hate dressing up, even though I look sharp when dressed up.
35. I have a calculator watch, not because I need everything on it, but because it's just nifty.
36. While I consider myself a spiritual person, I find organized religion generally offensive.
37. I haven't really found a clear cut religious path for myself, not for lack of trying.
38. I want to be an environmental engineering if/when I grow up (all I need is a job.)
39. I don't watch much television.
40. Sometimes I watch TV out of boredom.
41. My brain links together otherwise unrelated things and makes a pattern out of them, on a regular basis.
42. In kindergarten, I read quietly by myself while the teacher read to the rest of the class.
43. I was actually put into the special first grade class because of speech issues
44. I almost never got As in my classes (until my junior and senior year) because the material bored me and I didn't do it.
45. I've never learned to cook anything more complicated than mac & cheese from a box.
46. "Birdhouse in Your Soul" by TMBG is my self-proclaimed theme song.
47. When it comes to music, I like a little bit of almost everything.
48. I have not written any holiday cards, due to cost of stamps :/
49. The last concert I attended was The Buffalo Chips, twice! Once with Kristen and once without!
50. Pudding is yummy. (but I prefer cookies)
51. We have six cats, two of which are mine, two of which are Josh's and two of which are moms
52. I tend to have a small group of friends to whom I feel intimately close, and a much larger group of 'acquaintances'.
53. My current small group of friends is very spread out geographically.
54. I feel like ChaoticMUX is probably the one great creative achievement of my life.
55. I don't know if I could ever find the time and creative impetus to start Chaotic over from scratch.
56. I don't really feel the need to seek fame and fortune.
57. I get tired sometimes of trying to reconcile all the different aspects of my life.
58. I used to write poetry in high school and music in college, but like everything else, I just stopped when I got busy with work. (if Mixman counts as "writing" music)
59. I try to find the beauty in both joy and pain.
60. I always wanted to play guitar, but I have yet to have the chance.
61. Packages are the BEST kind of mail.
62. I still get angry way too easily, especially if I'm already in a bad mood.
63. My temper tends to flare when I am startled or extremely disappointed by something.
64. I can't wait for the day I can abandon my current email account and start again, doing it right this time (less spam = good)
65. I used to be into Magic: the Gathering for a few years, but got tired of pumping money into it
66. I recently gave my Magic card collection to
blackfelicula and
mechanchaos who will no doubt enjoy it a great deal more than I currently do.
67. I really like fill-it-in puzzles.
68. I am cold.
69. I get frustrated with myself when I know I've done something stupid.
70. I think that if all people would take responsibility for their own actions, the world would be a much better place.
71. I often can't sleep before going out of town, which is generally a bummer, especially if it's something important.
72. I have fantasies in which I one day marry Kristen. Who knows if the fantasy becomes reality.
73. I switched my major at college three times.
74. I am a hopeless romantic.
75. I think TV should inspire as well as entertain. Educational value is nice, but not essential.
76. I don't think misanthropes are cool -- I think they're kind of sad.
77. I like to read.
78. Sometimes I feel like I am too focused.
79. Sometimes I don't feel focused enough.
80. I am eternally annoyed by the willfully ignorant.
81. I can be patient, but it usually takes effort on my part.
82. My first concert ever was Peter, Paul and Mary.
83. I was in chorus from 5th through 8th grade.
84. I like music from just about every genre.
85. I succumb to the lure of LJ and memes far too easily.
86. I wish I could sing. REALLY sing, not just attempt to sing in tune to whatever I am listening to.
87. I feel like my online interactions over the years have improved my offline social skills.
88. I've never really enjoyed dancing much.
89. I've got a very good sense of melody, but can't always seem to match my voice with what I hear.
90. I really don't like it when people bother me when I'm really busy.
91. I wish I had a larger vocal range than I have.
92. I think my favorite compliment to get is to praise my work, not my inherent qualities that I can't really do anything about either way.
93. I don't think I have ever been seriously hit on.
94. There is a three year span between when I dated

95. I'm shy around total strangers, but tend to be outspoken when comfortable around someone.
96. I actually have won something in a raffle.
97. Although there are many aspects of living in the Buffalo area that I might miss, I think it's time to finally move out of here to someplace with more jobs.
