There's alot going on in my mind and life and it's difficult to get it all out in words, in part because I'm still pretty beat.

This weekend, on a total whim and totally against the way I usually act, I ran up to New Jersey for 24 hours to see [livejournal.com profile] kareila and [livejournal.com profile] dustkitten. We had fun and it was great to see them, but I got somewhere between 4 and 5 1/2 hours of sleep Saturday night and was feeling it big time most of the day (by the end of the day, as we were going back to Alana's house from Mini-golf and Tash was just.. well, basically doing the same things that was cute a couple of hours of back, I knew i was tired and cranky because I just didn't want to play those game just then (like playing with Tash's toy phone and "Calling" Tash's friends and Kristen and my mom).

I'm glad I got out of the house and got to see people, but I know there was part of me unhappy about the fact I'd abandoned the cats for 24 hours and that I hadn't thoroughly cleaned the house or done laundry or a bunch of things I'd planned on doing that weekend.
So... today will be interesting, because I need to still clean somewhat (Kristen is coming tommorow! More on this later), plus I need to go to the DMV (Well, I need to go home first, because A) I was an idiot and never took my plates off and B) I managed to leave my registration card at home :p) during lunch, then do little bitty shopping to get things until Kristen and I can go Wednesday, such as stuff for lunch tommorow and wednesday.
And I need to do SOME cleaning, like cleaning out the sink, cause it's pretty nasty.
And I should try to go to bed early, because I'm still tired.

Then TOMMOROW.. tommorow I get to bring my car in (A part that I had fixed a month ago broke again - the stop lamp switch, so my brake light is off and I'm having some problem with the gear shift) at 8 AM, then get a ride to work, do work (while hopefully getting occasional calls from Kristen when she's stopped, just so I know where she is), eventually get car back, then, sometime tommorow, Kristen will be here! :)

Eeee!
In 1 day from now, in 24 hours, my girlfriend will be driving up to Maryland. I am so happy/excited/bouncy! She's coming up here to job hunt and stuff, but it'll be so nice to see her and be with her. It'll be a little odd since this is the first time I'll be able to see her without being with her 24/7, but I think we'll manage :)
I think we're planning on going up to Baltimore's Inner Harbor this weekend (Not sure whether it'll be Saturday or Sunday, but we'll figure it out)

What else?
It's damn hot up here. I think it's supposed to go up to 90.
Go ahead.. ask me.. is the air conditioning in the apartment actually on? Well, I Don't THINK so. I turned cool on, and I got sorta cool air, but I'm not sure it's air conditioning cool. That said, cool air is better than nothing, so hopefully when I get home, the apartment isn't too bad. Both for my sake and the cats.

There's probably more I could say, but I'll post instead. Should be working anyways.

Love to my Kristen and see yooou sooon :D :D :D

weather.com says we're both mid-70s now. Ugh -- apartment is already too warm.

At least tomorrow I'll be driving from 50s to 70s, so I'll 1) appreciate the warmth without it being horribly oppressive, and 2) get a good workout from my car's AC. s:)

Eeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm going to have to pack shorts!

I also keep forgetting to tell you, I'm going to have to at very least bring the tower for my computer. One of us must remember to bring this up tonight so we can figure out where it can go & how much of it I actually need to bring.

Love you muches and bunches. Yay tomorrow!

Hmm.. K.
I'll have to remember to check out outlet situation (Specifically, do I have a free one in or around my computer desk)
If I do and as long as you don't mind switching screen and keyboard and mouse (and printer, if needed), back and forth, you can use my hardware.
Otherwise, we could find a corner of the living room for your entire computer, so long as you have no problem sitting on ze floor.

Well, I was going to bring the router, too -- figured worst case, I'd bring everything but the monitor and we could do the VNC thing again, or only have to switch the monitor.

I realize I'd have help getting my monitor to/from your place, it's getting it safely to my car for the trip down, and back up here when I get home, that I'm worried about. s:)

At any given point, it's okay to tell her No. In fact, one really has to get used to it.

Yep, if you don't, she'll totally take advantage of you. Didn't you notice that every store we went in on Sunday, she asked me to buy her something? And I gave in after the hundredth time she asked me to sleep with her on Sunday night, which is part of why I didn't sleep well. I didn't think it was possible to sprawl more than I do, certainly not when you're that small to begin with!

Hey.

I know I've been shit about hanging out, but life has gone pretty hellish lately.

But I'm in the College Park area for at least this week (probably longer) and was wondering if you would want to work something out.

If you don't, well, I understand. I thought about calling you today but by the time I managed to get around to it, it was 10 ish and well, tonight i'm just not in the greatest of moods.

see you.

Well, my girlfriend is in town, at least through Wednesday, but why don't you give me a buzz later (either via cell phone or home phone) and we'll see if we can work sonmething out.
