Couscous question(s)

kareila and
alierak who eat couscous. My first time eating couscous was, in fact, at
kareila's old place. I tried it again yesterday and it wasn't bad, but not quite as flavorful as I remember.
What sort of brands/boxes etc. do you get couscous in and what do you do/add to it to help bring out the flavor?

Date: 2004-09-21 09:14 am (UTC)A friend of mine (the one who introduced us both to it in the first place) used to serve the plain kind basically like mashed potatoes, and that worked pretty well. Just add a little butter or whatever else you use on potatoes and voila! :)
