I've been a busy little beaver yesterday.
Finally got off my ass and wrote a resume.
Why, you ask? Because it's been "suggested" we bring a few copies to the New York City meeting.

I'm asking all interested parties to check our my resume and give me comments and suggestions
In Word Format it's Here
In HTML Format (the Formatting is a BIT Off, but you should get the general idea), you can see it Here
Please check it out and give comments/suggestions/helpful hints

*I* think it's a good first resume :)

Yes, it's a good first resume. I'd agree with Kareila that the second draft probably needs more personality; perhaps something that hints at your motivation for pursuing this career.

You want to assess water quality and model water systems. Why? Because you enjoy chemistry and fiddling with computers? Let me guess that your goal is to improve water quality by studying pollution and evaluating treatments. There's nothing in your resume to indicate you're interested in designing treatments, so chances are you're really not.

Anyway, if you've got big-picture goals that go beyond what's in your Job Objective statement, you can probably find ways to work them in. Like, how successful were the research projects? Would you say "Demonstrated viability of a manure treatment system by assessing water quality", or "Exposed flaws in a manure treatment system by assessing water quality"? What's the value to an employer of a water-quality-assessor and modeler? Maybe that's an interview question, I dunno.

If you're going to hand these out in NYC, you want to put area codes on your profs' phone numbers, and have fun at the conference :)
