On Vacation

Don't I wish... :P
Actually, today was a pretty decent day. Day three of the little experiment and I can't be more pleased with the results so far. I weighed myself this morning to a lovely weight of 250 (my latest one-day weight to date). Now if I can get it to stay around there or lower, I'll be truly pleased indeed.
Another decent day. I did do another 60 minutes of cardio today, and though I'm still pretty tired, I made it through.
Tommorow I'm thinking I'll make my free day. No gym. I usually make Wednesday my free day if I can and I have other things to do anyways.
On good news, I'm on vacation. Well, not really.. but I have Sims: Vacations so I might as well be ;) It seems cool as so far. Better than House Party, certainly! Of course, I think all the expansions, to date, are better than House Party. I was so disappointed with House Party. Though it DOES add cool things to do Downtown (and on Vacation if I wanna add them, I guess.)
I really like this one song that came with the expansion too. SimsVac1 (the first of the songs that plays when my family goes on vacation.) I dunno, I think it's nifty. Most of the rest of the soundtrack is reggae stuff. Very fitting to the mood.
On bad news, tommorow is the first night of Passover. That, in itself, isn't the bad news. What IS the bad news is that my grandmother insists Marc be a part of the family celebration (despite the fact that she doesn't want him there.)
Understand, I've cut Marc off. Unless Marc did a REAL and HONEST 180, I doubt I'll have any more than I have to with him. So, you can imagine how annoyed I am that despite the fact that NO ONE WANTS HIM THERE, Mom and Grandma are going out of their way to get him to be a part of it.
It gets better.
Firstly, Marc expects to come home with lots and lots of leftovers.
Did I say lots? I meant ALL.
I'm dead serious. He expects grandma to give him all the leftovers.
In her wisdom (this isn't sarcasm. I think this *IS* wise), she's decided that it would be easiest to make it appear that way. So mom, Josh and I will get our leftovers Saturday instead of tommorow night.
Wait, I'm not done yet.
Marc expected us to pick him up to bring him there. Mom flat out refused.
As some of you may recall, we DID pick him up on Thanksgiving to bring him to grandma's. First off, he was ten minutes late and we were worried about time. Secondly, he smelled badly of pot and stunk up our car and grandma's house. So mom swore she was never picking him up again.
So, instead, Marc will appear at our house up to two hours early, take a hot shower, change etc.
Imagine my THRILL at having to watch him for two hours. :P
I could do without this shit.
At least my floor to watch is the basement. That means I can Play Sims/hang out on chaotic/whatever whilst watching him.
Yay for small favors.
OK, I'm off to play The Sims: Vacation.
See y'all!
