Wow, was I ever unprepared for yesterday.
April Fools Day, one of my two all-time favorite holidays and not only did I have no jokes to play on anyone, but I was suckered in by everyone else's jokes. It must be the stress.
I've really got get my ass on the grinder with this EIT stuff. I know I can do it, but I have only 18 more days to try to remember way too much stuff :P
Can we say PANIC?!?!
Yes, yes we can.
Today's been, altogether, a better day than yesterday. I managed to get a full 60 mintues of cardio in, which makes me proud of myself and, Sunday exluded, I'm still eating right, which make me more proud and I'm seeing the results on the scale.
*does the weight loss boogie*
So, yesterday was the 5th and a half birthday of Chaotic.
Of course, except for changing over from MUX to MUSH, nothing happened. Certainly no party. I'm not thrilledhappy about that, but *shrug*
What upsets me is the backlash of people who decided that Chaotic should NOT move to TinyMUSH 3.1 and that was a baaad idea. They kept at it, apparently, for long enough to make [livejournal.com profile] kareila upset.
Threat aside, I don't like it when people make [livejournal.com profile] kareila upset. Because to make her upset, you really gotta keep at it/do something truly bad.
I dunno. Personally, I trust [livejournal.com profile] alierak and believe that TM3.1 is at least as good, if not better, than what we were currently running. And, for me, with the "Twink Olympics" supposedly happening this month, I feel all the better having moved over like that.
For the record, I don't, personally, know David Passmore (though I have it on good authority he's not my type of person (to put it nicely) ) nor Lydia, but I know that if [livejournal.com profile] kareila and [livejournal.com profile] alierak thought TM3 was not ready, we would not have switched over.
And what does it matter WHAT Chaotic is hosted on anyways, so long as it remains Chaotic.
Though, between each of you and myself, I doubt I'll ever get used to calling it ChaoticMUSH. After 5 1/2 years, ChaoticMUX is most definately ingrained in my mind.
Ah well.
So, after some thinking and a discussion last night with [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar, I've taken out my Wiccan books and decided to sit down and read them again. I think, all in all, I've gotten a little too far from my own spiritual homebase and perhaps a little reminder of why I became a Witch and what it means to me will help center me.
So I took out "To Ride a Silverbroomstick" by Silver Ravenwolf (the first wiccan book I read and still my favorite.) and am rereading it, skipping over certain sections for others.
Wow, I'm tired. Exercising really took it out of me today.
What else?
Can't think of anything else, so I'll close this and post.
See y'all latahz.

I just remembered I wanted to reply to this :P
Well, if you want to plot and come up with ideas and policies, I'll certainly look them over and put in my $1.32, but otherwise you can consider me a, more or less, noncontributing member until after the EIT, yes.
