Sims 3: The House

hkellick"Harold!" she cried "We can't afford this house!" looked at the beautiful, two-story house on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. She wished, as she looked out at the house, that she could. There was a GORGEOUS vista here and with a little bit of work (whomever had built this house hadn't done themselves any favors: no deck overlooking the beach, nary a tree in the yard.. it was... odd. But it was so BIG too, definitely enough room for the whole family (and whomever they may bring home as well!)
"Let me show you around" said the real estate agent "and then we can talk price. Now as you can see, there's plenty of space here to expand. "
"You know what would be great here?" thought Harold aloud "A pool. You keep talking about how you want a pool, hon. And the kids would go ga-ga for it. We'd be hosting all sorts of parties if we had one."
"But Harold!" cried Christine "We can't afford this house! And a pool too?"
"And over there" said Harold, as if Christine hadn't spoken "We could put a deck overlooking the cliff. Wouldn't you love to go outside and read a book with THAT view in front of you? And over here, we could put a nice little vegetable garden. This place seems barren. Did the new owner not like trees?"
The real estate agent just shrugged "Would you like a tour of the insides?"
"Yes, please" said Harold as he gently pulled Christine along. Harold took over look at Christine and knew she WANTED for this place to work. For himself, Harold had already made up his mind..
They entered the house and Harold looked around. Sure looked like there'd be enough room for all five of them.
The three of them toured the house. The place was in good shape and it certainly was spacious. He mentally mapped out in his mind who would get which bedroom, which of the downstairs rooms would be the family room, the den, the dining room.
All that was left to do is deal with the price...
One week later, they moved in.
