So I'll review the album first and foremost :D


First off.. I'm only listening to the album atm. Later, I'll play with the interactive media. But I've seen half of it already and, you guessed it, i think it's cool :)

Fibber Island
For those of you who got TMBG Unlimited, this is the same song from unlimited. Still cool, though :)
Probably one of my favorites on this album.

My second favorite song on this album. I love it. It's cool. Weeheeheehee :D

Unlimited version. This song is freaky. Not my favorite, but OK.

Lazy Head And Sleepybones
Unlimited version (surprised?). Love this song. Tres cool :D

New TMBG! Yay! :D

Altogether favorite song on this album. Very very cool. :D

So today was, altogether, a better day than yesterday. Firstly, I actually got sleep last night and that was important. I'm pretty exhausted now, but I suspect it's heat/sun exhaustion. Didn't get too badly sunburned today either which is a MAJOR bonus.
Mostly, it was a good day because we were on the lake the entire time, the winds and weather were with us and we got alot of stuff done quickly, including getting some samples of the local zooplankton and phytoplankton.
Actually, Karen (another student) and I stayed an hour later just to get pictures of the various plankton to identify and show tommorow.
Actually... the day REALLY started well when I got in the car, got on the expressway and "Always On My Mind" by Pet Shop Boys came on...
Of course.. it doesn't at all hurt that I got the new TMBG which is like a shot of hyper shot in the arm.
Not a whole lot to say otherwise...

It's not really surprising that so many tracks would be unchanged from the Unlimited version, considering that this was basically ready to release what, over a year ago now? Before they had to shop for a new label.

Yeah, I know... I think that Unlimited thing was as much curse as blessing. Sure, I got some good stuff.. but I heard not *1* but 2 TMBG albums before they came out. The... surprise of listening to them was taken away from me.
Happily, I can say that shouldn't be a problem again.
