Perfection is an odd thing.
We all long for it and none of us ever find it.
And that fact never stops us from getting up, dusting ourselves up, and trying again.

Occasionally we're able to settle for "Good enough" but it's not usually an easy process.

Yeah, I know.
I try to settle, mostly, for just being the best I can be. It's alot easier to achieve than perfection.

If I were the perfect mother, I'd have no sense of self.
If I were the perfect friend, I would probably enable people to do things they shouldn't.
If I were the perfect employee, I'd probably make myself sick.

No, that's okay. I don't want perfection. I like me as I am. Anyone who tries for perfection is trying too hard. I'm not saying shoot low, I'm saying aim high, but not impossible.
