Getting to the Interview

OK, I have most of the details (but not all) worked out..

Getting To Beantown
Train: 448

From: Rochester on 10/23/03
To: Boston-South Station on 10/23/03
Departs: 6:34am 10/23/03
Arrives: 5:20pm 10/23/03
Additional Services: Reserved Coach
11 hours. FUN (not). :p Still gotta figure out how to get there too. I don't suppose any of you Rochesteronians want to take me to the train station at 6:00 or so in the morning on a Thursday? It'd be easier, in the long run, if I could leave my car at Kristen's place. If not, I'll leave it at the train station and probably pick it up either Saturday sometime or Monday before going home.

Getting Back to Buffalo
Since kareila is coming to Rochester the day after the interview, I may as well (and yay for them being willing) go with them to Rochester, then I'll go home (as originally planned) sometime on Saturday.

So, I have most of the details figured out. All I have to do now is to go through it, kick ass at the interview (hopefully) and come back home.
Also, need to make sure I have a suit that fits well and looks fairly good.

Yes he is, because Jen & Robbie were driving out on Saturday anyway, originally meeting with us here & then carpooling to Ithaca. Remember the hotel SNAFU?

Heh. I mean Rochester. At the moment, Boston != Home, Rochester is like a second home and Buffalo IS, I suppose, home (officially.)
I don't suppose you could help be the lucky person to help me get from Kristen's to the train station at 6:00 AM? I know it's alot to ask, but I'd still prefer a ride so I can leave my car at Kristen's place.

Didn't your initial post say the interview was Wednesday? This one says Thursday.

Thursday is more likely for me having my car back than Wednesday is (as I may likely take it in on Tuesday after doc appointment). Still don't want to PROMISE, cuz it would suck if you counted on me and my car did not come back in time. But Thursday is a safer bet than Wednesday would be.

Originally they wanted to do it Friday afternoon. Then they told me they could do it Tuesday, Wednesday or.. Friday afternoon. I picked Wednesday (since at the time I was still hoping to be in Rochester on Friday to spend time with Kristen) but the semantics of getting me to and from Boston were.. difficult. So we looked at doing it on Friday and Friday was better. The company was glad to reschedule and there we are.

I know you've helped me out with rides a lot during your visits to this area. We could help out. I just need John (and therefore Aidan) in tow to ensure that I'm a legal driver. I've had my permit for years... only reason I'm not a licensed driver is that I haven't had confidence re: three point turns and parallel parking. Just send me an e-mail reminder or phone call the night before so I can be sure to set my alarm appropriately.
