It's no secret that I
like Obama. I've been a fan of his since.. well since 2004. But especially
as I got to hear him out in the primaries. I voted for Obama, which I felt
very very strongly was the right choice to do. And having seen him and his
team in action, I'm blown away.

I'm blown away by a President who's actively trying to fulfill his campaign
promises.
I'm blown away by a President who really is challenging the system:
Democrats, Republicans, Congress, the Oil Companies, Banks, Special
Interest... there's something for pretty much all the washington insiders to
hate in what he's doing and what he's planning to try to do.
I'm blown away by a Democratic President who is TOTALLY controlling the
national dialogue. The republicans look like they've gotten in the way of
bipartisanship, Jindal blew it in a fairly nonsensical responsible to the
not-quite-State-of-the-Union and now to make matters worse, Rahm Emanual is
EFFECTIVELY dividing the Republican Party and the DRAMA between El Rushbo
and pretty much anyone else who would dare to suggest he isn't the force
behind the Republican Party (and can I say how amusing it is to see that
there isn't a single Republican with the CAJONES to go up against El Rushbo
and stick to his feelings instead of backing down and apologizing).

If this is what an unexperience Obama Presidency can do in just the last 45
days, what do you think he could do with a second term, once he's HAD four
years of experience?

I don't remember liking Bill Clinton this much. I can't remember ever
looking at his presidency or anything he did and going "OMG! This guy's a
freakin' awesome president!"

Maybe it's fair to say that if the Republican Party wasn't so splintered
right now, Obama wouldn't be doing quite as good a job controlling the
national dialogue as he's doing. Then again, maybe the Obama Administration
is just THAT good at what they do. I don't know.

All I know is.. I'm proud of my President. And I wish him all the luck in
the world to keep working his magic. Truth be told, I think he'll need it,
if he's going up against all of Washington (which he seems poised to do.)
